«Rusmolco» awards scholarship to best students

«Russian Dairy Company» for the fourth time awarded scholarship to the best students of Penza Agricultural Academy. This event was held within the framework of the long-term partnership program between «Rusmolco» and Penza Agricultural Academy.  

On the 29th of October during the solemn ceremony «Rusmolco» awarded scholarships to the best agrarian students. The event took place in the higher educational institution at Academic Council of the Academy. The event was attended by students, management, and professors of the Penza State Agricultural Academy.  The «Russian Dairy Company» was represented by the Head of the HR department Julia Brykina.

This year scholarships were given to six students of engineering and technological faculty who had successfully completed summer internships at «Rusmolco» farms. All the scholarship holders received good references from the farm managers they had worked for. «Rusmolco» has been granting scholarships for three years already. The scholarship is a part of the long-term partnership program between «Rusmolco» and the higher educational institution, started in spring of 2012. The purpose of the program is to inspire a renewed interest of young people in agricultural specialties and to increase the attainment level of agrarian students to the world standards.

The students were involved in crops harvesting, feed making, cattle feeding and care, repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery.

Scholarship distribution became a way of summing up results of the summer work. It should be noted that two students received scholarships for the second time – that is the future candidate pool of the company. The students will receive scholarships in the amount of three thousand roubles per month for a year.

The CEO of LLC MC «Rusmolco» Sumanta Kumar De said: «By inviting the best students on work experience to «Rusmolco» and by providing them doable financial aid, we do not only give them an opportunity to plunge into the job, to interact with the best specialists, and to get brilliant practical skills, but we also clearly demonstrate perspective of their specialty. Even if the students doubted about their choice, after working at our farms all their doubts dispelled.  At our end we have an opportunity to select the best students and to gradually form company’s candidate pool. This is a good tradition, and it will be carried on».
