Deputy minister of agriculture visited a dairy farm of Rusmolco

On the same day, a business meeting between Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Levin and acting Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev took place in the regional government office. During the meeting with Ivan Belozertsev the honored guest shared his impressions of what he had seen and confirmed the intention of the Ministry of Agriculture to continue allocation of funds for execution of programs aimed at development of the agricultural sector of the economy of Russia and of the Penza region in particular.

«It is very important for us to see that subsidy allocated from the country budget materialize in modern agricultural farms with high-tech equipment. In the Penza region, I have seen quite impressive facilities for turkey meat production, successful animal husbandry, world-class enterprises. Surely, we will support such regions», – said Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. He also noted that the government in the Penza region creates favorable environment for investors that pays off – large projects are executed contributing to the development of the regional economy.

The sides discussed development prospects of agricultural sector of the Penza region, bank lending issues, execution of investment projects and import substitution program on the territory of the region. Ivan Belozertsev thanked the honored guest for the federal executive bodies support of agriculture.

«I see that in the Penza region people do want to work on the land. Thanks to the federal and regional, upon co-financing terms, support agricultural companies develop, new farms get established, more jobs are created. It is very important for us and we keep strict watch of efficient use of every rouble», –the head of the region said.
   

After the meeting Sergey Levin and Ivan Belozertsev visited OJSC «Milk processing plant Penzenskiy». On the shop floor they got acquainted with operations, degustated the products and praised the results of the plant upgrading that was completed 4 years ago.
