The acting Governor of the Penza region I. Belozertsev held a business meeting with representatives of one of the leaders in dairy farming of the country – MC «Rusmolco». During the meeting, the acting Governor was made aware of the status of ongoing projects and discussed the development of dairy livestock and crop production in the region.
On June 17, the acting Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev met managers of one of the biggest milk producers in the country – MC «Rusmolco». The meeting was attended by the managing director of «Olam International», Global Head Coffee, Dairy Products & CFS V.Verma, the CEO of LLC MC «Rusmolco» S. De; the president of MC «Rusmolco» and the CEO of Damate Group R. Khayrov; Deputy CEO of MC «Rusmolco» V.Reznichenko.
Representatives of the company that has been operating in the region since 2007 introduced to the acting Governor projects executed by «Rusmolco» during these years on the territory of the region. «Rusmolco» is one of the biggest investors in the region, cumulative investments in the economy of the region have already exceeded 10 billion roubles.
Among the most significant projects are commercial dairy farm for 3600 milking cows in Narovchat area and commercial dairy farm for 4600 milking cows in Nizniy Lomov area built in strategic partnership of Olam International and «Rusmolco». As of now «Rusmolco» holds more than 13 thousand heads of livestock, daily milk production of the company exceeds 150 tons. «Rusmolco» cultivates more than 74 thousand ha of land and fully covers forage requirements of the livestock.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the discussion of the three projects being executed in the region now. Among them – replacements raising facilities designed for 5200 heifers, the breeding farms will be located on the territory of Nizniy Lomov, Narovchat and Kuznetsk area; elevator for 100 thousand tons of storage in Pachelma area and seed production line with a capacity of 10 tons per year in Bashmakovo area.
«We have done significant work both in Dairy and Agri sectors, - said the CEO of MC «Rusmolco» Sumanta Kumar De, - in comparison with the five months of the previous year, as of July 1 livestock numbers increased by 3 thousand heads, gross milk production – more than by 1,5 times. We have considerably expanded hectarage under new crops to the region like soya and lupin. We are happy that all the achievements of «Rusmolco» have positive impact on the general situation in the agricultural sector of the Penza region».
