RUSMOLCO has started sowing campaign

The farms of the Russian Dairy company started spring field works. The current year, the crop land in processing will be 63 000 hectares. The company's specialists are planning to achieve 3,4 tonnes/ha as average grain crops yield and to provide the livestock with its own feed.

At the farms of Rusmolco the preparatory works are at full pelt: pre-sowing fertilizing, harrowing, feeding. The company's specialists are planning to start sowing on April 25 and to complete it in the shortest possible time. In total, the company is going to plant 26 500 hectares with grain crops and over 20 000 hectares - with corn and grasses for feeds.

Rusmolco has thoroughly prepared for sowing season 2015.  During autumn and winter periods, the company has done a great job: agronomists purchased more than 10 500 units of corn seeds, about 1 500 - sunflower seeds, approximately 2 000 - sugar beet sees. In addition, the company bought 15 tons of perennial grasses seeds and 70 tons of grain crops seeds. Moreover, about 12 000 tons of nitrogen and complex fertilizers are purchased. The farm machinery was renovated and prepared for the sowing season: over 150 units, including tractors, loaders and trailers. Moreover, the company used 68 million rubles for new agricultural equioment. The own fleet of the company fully covers the needs in transport during the sowing period.

«In view of the commissioning of a new dairy farm for 4600 animals and a significant increase of livestock population, we pay a particular attention to the issue of self-providing with feeds. - said Vladimir Reznichenko, deputy general director of Rusmolco, - For several winter months, the farms have well prepared for the season and we will try to conduct the seeding at a fast pace and meet the timeline.»
