Rusmolco made 15,000 analyses of grain and oilseeds in its own production and technological laboratory in 2022. The laboratory is located in the Pachelmskiy district of the Penza region. The purpose of the laboratory is to control the quality and safety of grain entering the elevator during storage there and dispatch from it.

The company’s laboratory is a structural subdivision of the elevator. Its technical equipment and the high professionalism of its employees make it possible to carry out various analyses of such crops as wheat, brewing barley, corn, sunflower, soy and rape. Dozens of types of studies are carried out in the laboratory including a complete analysis of grain in accordance with State Standard during dispatch and receiving, and checking the safety of s during storage and processing.

Moreover, the laboratory can make 300 express analyses per day, which reduces the time for obtaining results and increases productivity during the receiving and dispatch of grain and oilseeds.

The laboratory is provided with modern equipment that allows controlling the quality of both received and dispatched s, as well as grain stored.

For example, the express analyser of whole grain “Infratech124” carries out high-precision analysis in just 1 minute without additional sample preparation. After analysis on the device, the s are sent to the elevator and distributed to containers by laboratory staff. The distribution is done in accordance with the quality indicators of the grain. The Infratech analyser can be combined with various additional modules including for determining the oil content in sunflower, which is extremely important for the economic efficiency of the company.

With the help of the device for analysis of Pneumac seed viability, laboratory staff conduct a quick test for the presence of viable seedlings of grain. To assess the germination of seeds, a mechanical grain cutter is installed in the laboratory. Due to the simplicity of the design, it dissects the grain quickly, with high accuracy.

The Sortimat laboratory-sorting machine is very important for assessing the quality and determining the full composition of brewing barley. Sortimat can also be used for sorting (bonitizing) grain, legumes, oilseeds, granules.
