The feed making at “Rusmolco” farms has reached a final stage.

The farms of “Rusmolco” are drawing close to completing the feed making for the own livestock. Most of the farms have already met the planned requirements for corn silage making. The company is planning the complete the feed making within the set schedule.

“Russian dairy company” is continuing to make the feeds for the own livestock provision. The final stage of corn silage making is taking place at the farms of “Rusmolco” in September. Currently, approximately 25 thousand tons of green grass were made.

The highest rates of making of this type of feed are registered at “Mochaleiskoye” and “RAO “Troitskoye” farms, which met the requirements in full. The team of “Pachelmskoye” made 70% of silage, the farms in Kuznetsky block made half of the feeds stipulated in the plan. The team of “RAO “Narovchatskoye”, where optimal feed quality was expected and where the harvesting began later, has already made 40% of silage. It is planned to complete the silage making at the farms in undertime.

According to the data from the company specialists, the average harvest yield of corn for silage is 220 centers/ha. Taking into account the harvest yield and the harvesting speed, “Rusmolco” company expects to meet the plan for silage making, which is 66 thousand tons, and provide the feeds for the own livestock in full.

“Russian dairy company” (“Rusmolco”) – is a leading manufacturer of milk in Penza region and one of the largest players on the dairy market of the country. Currently, “Rusmolco” comprises nine farms, which are specialized in dairy cattle breeding and crop production. The area of the governed lands is 140 thousand hectares, the livestock population for August 1, 2012 – over 7,8 thousand heads, of which 4,4 thousand are cows.

In 2007 “Rusmolco” commenced its operations in the region with renovations and reconstructions of the old dairy farms, currently “Rusmolco” has set a priority for constructing new global-level dairy complexes. Now, the company has two projects implemented in the Penza region from scratch: an industrial complex for 3600 heads at Narovchatsky raion and a modern farm for 1200 heads in Kuznetsky raion. In 2012 company began constructing the largest dairy complex in Nezhnelomovsky raion with a planned capacity of 120 tons of milk per day. Currently, there are no similar complexes in the country.

On January 30, 2012 “Rusmolco” signed a cooperation agreement with a company “Olam”, one of the global leaders in agriculture, in order to develop the dairy cattle breeding and crop production in Penza region. The parties intend to invest up to 400 million U.S. dollars until year 2015 within the frame of the first phase of implementing a development program. It is planned to create a dairy herd of 20 thousand heads within this timeframe, as well as increase the area of arable lands up to 106 thousand ha.
