“Rusmolco” reaps rich sugar beet harvest

“Russian dairy company” finished harvesting sugar beet. This year the company reached a very good result – the yield of the sugar beet totaled to 415 c/ha, with the planned yield being 380 c/ha.

“Rusmolco” grows sugar beet on the fields of its farm RAO “Troitskoye” in Bashmakovsky region. This year 1170 ha of farmlands were used for seeding. A total of 48,5 tons of root crops were harvested during the harvest campaign. The full volume of sugar beet was put into processing at the sugar plant, situated in the immediate vicinity. The planned requirements for harvesting and selling of the raw material was met by the company in full.

“Sugar beet was always a traditionally grown crop for “RAO ‘Troitskoye”, even before it joined the “Russian dairy company”. The agronomists at the farm are very experienced at cultivating this crop. That is why every year we get a high yield, even despite the poor weather conditions. Our plan for the next year is to increase the seeded area for sugar beet up to 1600 ha», - said the first deputy general director of LLC “Russian dairy company” Vladimir Grigoryevich Reznichenko.
